Lush is offering customers access to free handwashing stations to help prevent coronavirus spreading

Washing your hands properly is the most important thing we can do to prevent coronavirus from spreading, according to the World Health Organization. So, high street retailer Lush is doing something to help…

Lush is offering the public free access to its handwashing stations in a bid to prevent coronavirus from spreading.

The high street retailer, which is known for its soap bars and hand washes, has said it recognises theres are practicalities to being able to wash your hands when out and about and public toilets can be difficult to find. So, anybody can now enter its stores and use eco-friendly soap bars and hot water to wash their hands – and yes, this service is entirely free, meaning there is no requirement to purchase anything.

“The winter months are always a time when hand hygiene matters because coughs and colds pass around, but the current situation with the spread of the new Coronavirus means that it is more important than ever that people regularly wash their hands and observe best practice,” Lush said in a statement. “It is also important that people understand the full, effective routine of washing as advised by the health authorities to maximise the removal of germs.”

Additionally, the store is using its shop windows to promote the handwashing guidelines as advised by the NHS and other public health organisations around the world.

Current guidelines from the NHS urge the public to wash their hands regularly for at least 20 seconds each time, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (but not your hand) when you cough or sneeze, and to use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available. It also asks the public to avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands aren’t clean.

“We all have a role to play in stopping this disease and that’s what this expanded campaign is all about – making sure the public knows exactly what they should be doing to keep themselves and others safe,” says Health and Social Care Secretary Matt Hancock. “Washing hands regularly is the single most important thing that an individual can do.”

Not sure about the most effective way to wash your hands? Here’s instructions directly from the World Health Organization…

While it’s important to do, regular hand washing can cause dry skin – so, we’ve listed our favourite hand creams here.

Dyson Just Launched the Hair Straightener of Your Futuristic Dreams

We love these products, and we hope you do too. E! has affiliate relationships, so we may get a small share of the revenue from your purchases. Items are sold by the retailer, not E!.

One of your most used hair tools just got a major update.

After changing the way we look at hair dryers and curling irons, Dyson has turned its attention to another one of your bathroom beauty staples: the hair straightener.

On Tuesday, the brand synonymous with high-tech vacuum cleaners and humidifiers among an array of other gadgets, unveiled its latest hair care creation, seven years in the making—the Dyson Corrale.

Named for its ability to gather hair together, the tool features patented “flexing plates” made from manganese copper alloy that, according to the company, flex around the hair and evenly apply heat and tension, resulting in less heat damage and color fading.

“Since we first started developing the Dyson Supersonic hairdryer, we have continued to explore the science of style, seeking to understand what makes hair smooth, shiny and glossy, and what makes it dull, damaged and lifeless. We have been worried about the style results and heat damage from flat plate straighteners. Flat hair irons apply tension and heat only on the thickest part of the hair tress, the strands at the edges are not clamped, leaving them slack, unheated and leaving flyaways. It requires multiple passes on the same section of hair tress to give an even look, by which time excess heat may have caused reduced strength and less gloss,” founder James Dyson said in a statement.

Best Dyson Deals Happening Now

“We discovered that if the plates could conform to the precise profile of the tress, then with each pass we could apply the correct tension to all the hair strands. This means that we get an enhanced style and without excessive heat damage. We simply do not need the heat that others apply. We engineered unique flexing plates of magnesium copper, wired eroded to a precise accuracy of 65 microns to adapt to the shape of the hair tress. The copper plates wrap around the tress, applying even heat and tension to all the hair strands, keeping them aligned.”

The tool’s technology also features a sensor that measures the temperature a whopping 100 times a second, which helps in keeping the tool’s three heat settings accurate.

Making hair matters more convenient, the device is also cordless and works for up to 30 minutes before needing time on its charging dock when it’s not in use or with a magnetic charging cable, which can be used while simultaneously styling hair.

And, for the jetsetter, the Dyson Corrale comes with a flight mode feature, allowing it to be packed in your cabin luggage.

Needless to say, better hair days of the future have officially landed. Shop below to get yours!

Get your tresses in check with this innovative straightener, using flexing plates that shape around your hair to help you style with less heat, resulting in reduced frizz and fewer flyaways. And you get to decide if you want to use it tethered to a cord, or rock it cordless.

This 3-Move Kettlebell Complex Will Pump Your Upper Body

Pushups and biceps curls are mainstays in upper body workout for a reason: they work. But once you’ve got the movements down pat, you might be ready to give them an upgrade with this upper body kettlebell complex courtesy of kettlebell coach Eric Lieja (a.k.a. Primal Swoledier) and fitness coach Hannah Eden.

You’ll need a medium weight kettlebell for this complex.

By incorporating a kettlebell and taking a tall kneeling position for the curls and around the worlds, Leija and Eden’s flow will smash your core, chest, biceps, and triceps with just three to six minutes of work.

Cycle through the complex as many times as you can in 30 to 60 seconds. “Rest as [much as] needed to maintain quality reps,” Leija instructs in Instagram post caption. Then, repeat for 6 total sets.

To get the most out of the complex, the key is to make your core work big time. During the kettlebell tricep pushup, you’ll need to keep your core braced as you descend to the bottom of each rep to prevent your hips or lower back from sagging forward. (If you have any issues performing pushups on the kettlebell, swap them out for standard pushups instead.)

During the biceps curls and around the world (a.k.a. the kettlebell halo), you’ll have to engage your abs and obliques to stabilize and keep you from swaying as you move the bell. Going from the tall kneeling position also reduces your ability to use your hips to propel or kip the weight into position, as you might be tempted to do while standing, which puts the focus on your biceps during the curl.

Want more workouts from Leija? Check out his Men’s Health Kettlehell program (now available on our All Out Studio app), which is designed to burn fat and build muscle with just one kettlebell.

Inside Kylie Jenner's old Malibu mansion Meghan Markle and Prince Harry 'plan to rent for £12k a night post Megxit'

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry are said to have their sights on renting a luxury £5.4million mansion in Malibu that previously was rented by Kylie Jenner.

Sources say the Duke and Duchess of Sussex 'plan to stay at the sprawling Petra Manor in California' as they choose somewhere to settle after leaving the royal family.

The “test-run” show-stopping home has a staggering eight bedrooms, ten bathrooms and even comes with its own pool, tennis court and cinema.

Currently Petra Manor costs around £12,224-a-night to rent, but it is ideally located, being around 30 miles from Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland.

The move would mean grandma Doria could spend more time with nine-month-old baby Archie.

The home is also ideally placed for the family trying to become financially independent from the royal family, thanks to being situated near to Silicon Valley and Hollywood.

Stanford is also close to Apple headquarters, where Prince Harry had been developing a new series with Oprah Winfrey.

Stay Awhile Villas owner Stuart Heller would not confirm if the royal couple have settled on the extravagant pad, which reality star Kylie rented during the summer of 2018.

Stuart told the “Stay Awhile Villas is often contacted by high profile families seeking to test neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles before making any move permanent.

“This is the perfect property for anyone wanting to move to the area and Harry and Meghan will want to see if Malibu suits their lifestyle.

“The house is a short term rental, many people come to Malibu looking for a home and they will rent somewhere first to see if it makes sense for them and their family.”

This comes as Meghan and Prince Harry did their last public engagement as royals at the Commonwealth Service in London yesterday.

From March 31, Prince Harry and Meghan will no longer use their HRH titles, and will aim to be financially independent as they split their time between the UK and North America.

The Italian-style mansion in LA is in a secure gated community, and has a host of glamorous features, including an extensive wine cellar.

The house offers the ex-Royals a good deal of privacy as it is tucked away from the main strip in Malibu, where the two could get dinner at Nobu or pick up food at the local Whole Foods.

It was previously owned by Baywatch star David Charvet and his wife, Brooke Burke, who built the pad in 2015.

The home has an airy open kitchen with two islands for Meghan to indulge in her love of cooking.

Attached to the first living room is the cinema, with sleek dark couches and a cozy fireplace.

The master bedroom has two sets of beautiful windowed doors that lead out to a balcony overlooking the property.

Completing the home are a massive outdoor pool, tennis court and basketball hoop, for Harry to possibly pass on his love of sport to son Archie.

It was Caitlyn Jenner who first broke the news that Meghan and Harry were looking at properties while appearing on Loose Women.

Caitlyn also threw her support behind Meghan during her appearance on the program.

She said: “It was a big shock to her, she’s probably had enough. Good for them, we’ll see how it goes.

“I heard they were looking for a house in Malibu. It must have been tough. Everyone deserves to be happy.”

Currently the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are staying with baby Archie in an £11m waterside mansion on Vancouver Island.

Meghan came face to face with the Queen for the first time on Sunday as she headed to church in Windsor with her husband Harry and the monarch.

In other royal news, we told you how Meghan's £400 necklace included a sweet message from Prince Harry.

And "adoring" Meghan and Prince Harry showed their "honeymoon" affection during their first post- Megxit event, a body language expert has claimed.

There are rumours of a feud between harry and William, which were fuelled by today’s meeting.

Body language expert Judi James told “For everyone longing to see a warm reunion between brothers William and Harry at this last public outing there was some disappointment.

  • Royal break: Camilla’s role in helping Charles through feud revealed

“Several of their behaviours echoed avoidance techniques that have been visible at other events over the past few years and their greeting when it did come involved a brave but rather tense smile and ‘hello’ but no later rituals of chatting or bonding before Harry takes his leave.”

The Queen also wore a stunning brooch today covered, again, in diamonds.

Her Majesty wore the Jardine star brooch.

The enormous sparkling piece has eight large stones surrounding a centre stone.

The brooch was given to the Queen by Lady Jardine in 1981.

The original design dost £965, however, bespoke dresses can run into the tens of thousands.

The cape detail is from a jumpsuit from the brand’s collection, which was previously worn by model Gigi Hadid.

Yep, You Can Use Trader Joe's Fruit and Vegetable Wash to Clean Your Makeup Brushes

If skin could talk, it’d probably say something along the lines of “use all the sunscreen” or “wash your makeup brushes more often, preferably once a week.” While not exactly known for its skin and beauty products, Trader Joe’s Fruit and Vegetable Wash 2 Pack ($21) works as a natural solution for cleaning your dirty makeup brushes, according to traderjoeslist on Instagram.

In the same way the wash cleans away wax and chemicals from your produce, the acid and oils in it easily remove any lingering foundation, blush, or products that have been stuck to your brushes since before the premiere of Love Is Blind. All you have to do is pour some of the solution in a bowl and mix your makeup brushes around in it before rinsing them off with a little bit of water. Ingredients include purified water, natural cleansing agents derived from coconut oil and corn oil, grapefruit seed extract, and lemon-orange extract.

As important as it is to wash your face daily, it’s equally important to stay conscious of how clean the products you’re putting on your face actually are, which is why this hack is so practical. Head to your nearest Trader Joe’s to snag a two-pack of the Fruit and Vegetable Wash to try out for yourself ahead. Your makeup brushes (and your skin) will thank you for it.
