Futuristic Lady GaGa and Ariana Grande Let Loose in Music Video for ‘Rain On Me’

The release of the Robert Rodriguez-directed visual boosts the second single off GaGa’s highly-anticipated ‘Chromatica’ to number one on iTunes in 26 countries.

AceShowbizLady GaGa and Ariana Grande have supported their bop-worthy collaboration “Rain On Me” with a brand new music video. Hours after dropping the second single off GaGa’s upcoming album “Chromatica”, the powerful duo released a futuristic visual that sees them letting loose and dancing in the rain.

The three-minute promo was directed by “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, and opens with GaGa lying on a wet ground. Dressed in pink PVC bodysuit, she has a knife stabbing her thighs. Shortly after she broke into intense dance choreography, Grande made her appearance sporting her signature high ponytail and purple latex dress.

Halfway through the song, the two pop icons came together to dance their heart way in a post-apocalyptic arena along with a colorful dance troupe in the background. At some point in the video, the pair swapped their hairstyles with GaGa sporting a high ponytail and Grande letting her hair down. The video concluded with a shot of the two sharing a hug.

When counting down to the video drop, GaGa took to Twitter to express her appreciation of Grande. “Thank you for reminding me I’m strong, I’m super emotional and love you so very much, I cherish you @ArianaGrande and little monsters without you I don’t know how I would survive,” she wrote. “I’d rather be dry, but at least I’m alive.”

Lady GaGa sends words of praise to Ariana Grande

In response, Grande tweeted her own praise about her collaborator. “one time ….. i met a woman who knew pain the same way i did… who cried as much as i did, drank as much wine as i did, ate as much pasta as i did and who’s heart was bigger than her whole body,” she gushed. “she immediately felt like a sister to me.”

The “Thank You, Next” hitmaker continued in a separate tweet, “she then held my hand and invited me into the beautiful world of chromatica and together, we got to express how beautiful and healing it feels to mothafuckinnnn cry ! i hope this makes u all feel as uplifted as it does for us both.” She added, “i love u @ladygaga, u stunning superwoman !”

Ariana Grande responded to Lady GaGa’s appreciation post with her own praise

“Rain On Me” came from GaGa’s sixth studio album which will be released on May 29. Speaking to Zane Lowe of Apple Beats 1 about the song, the “Born This Way” hitmaker explained, “This is about an analog of tears being the rain. And you know what it’s also a metaphor for, is the amount of drinking that I was doing to numb myself.”

The 34-year-old Grammy winner elaborated further, “I’d rather be dry. I’d rather not be drinking, but I haven’t died yet. I’m still alive. Rain on me. Okay, I’m going to keep on drinking. This song has many layers.”

Scooter Braun Thanks Ariana Grande for Being Humble in the Wake of 6ix9ine Attack

After the ‘Stuck With U’ singer hit back at accusation that she and Justin Bieber manipulated chart result, her manager offers the ‘Gooba’ rapper a lengthy explanation on how the chart works.

AceShowbizAriana Grande‘s manager, Scooter Braun, has jumped on the singer’s lengthy attack on Billboard Hot 100 chart rival Tekashi 6ix9ine after he suggested she and Justin Bieber didn’t deserve to be number one.

The rapper, who bowed at three on the new countdown with “Gooba”, accused the pop pair of buying their way to the top of the countdown, prompting Grande to issue a long statement shooting down his claims and urging Tekashi to be “humble” and “be grateful you’re even here.”

Her response prompted a comeback from the rap star, who added, “I don’t want you to think that I’m coming at you. I’m not saying you’re not talented, I’m not saying you can’t sing. You’re a beautiful singer, you just don’t understand my pain.”

He had previously told fans in a video that he had learned the same credit card had been used to buy multiple copies of Bieber and Grande’s duet.

And now Braun has joined the feud, offering Tekashi a lesson in how the chart works, “Only domestic streams are counted for a domestic chart. If someone is counting their total they aren’t counting correctly… We never disclose our sales until end of week. That is called strategy and is and always has been our policy… Nielsen (chart compilers) and billboard rules state clearly one credit card can only buy max 4 copies (sic). Anything above that the entire amount gets thrown out. They review that. All must be confirmed. Which it was.”

Scooter confirms there was an investigation surrounding this week’s charts, but adds, “it was into a video that had 6 times the amount of paid bot activity than the normal video. That video was not ours.”

He added, “Ariana thank you for being so humble. Others should do the same.”

Braun also made it clear he is “proud” of Grande and fellow charge Bieber’s latest chart achievement, adding, “honored to stand with you always.”

Justin also responded to 6ix9ine’s claims on social media, adding, “He said 30k was bought with 6 credit cards but that is a lie. The rules are clear one credit card can buy max 4 copies (sic). Anything over that the entire amount gets thrown out (sic).”

“Nielsen (chart compilers) company checks this and found all our sales were legit because our fans are amazing and bought them. Don’t discredit our fan base with false info.”

He also ripped in to the rapper for failing to mention he’s part of the song in his initial attack on Grande, adding: “If you gonna say her name make sure you say mine because it’s our song.”

Pop superstars Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande have been quietly reaching out to their fans in this time of crisis and uncertainty to provide financial aid to those who have been put out of a job as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ariana Grande Fan Arrested for Intruding Her Home to Send Love Letter

The fan has been booked for misdemeanor trespassing and felony battery after bypassing security measures to get to the front door at the ‘God Is a Woman’ singer’s home.

AceShowbiz -An Ariana Grande fan was arrested on Monday night (16Mar20) after arriving at the singer’s Los Angeles home with a love note for her and directions to her house.

According to TMZ.com, the man in his 20s knocked on the door of Ariana’s property at around 2pm on Saturday (14Mar20) and brazenly asked for the star.

While the property manager who answered the door told him that the “God is a Woman” hitmaker wasn’t home, they then called the police, after allegedly being unsure how the man bypassed security measures to get to the front door.

Upon arrival, officers found the man near the house, and discovered directions to Ariana’s property and a love note for her on his person. As they arrested him, the intruder reportedly spit on one of the police officers – leading to him being booked for misdemeanor trespassing and felony battery.

It’s not the first time Ariana has had to deal with unwanted attention from a fan. Back in 2016, Massachusetts man Timothy J. Normandin plead guilty to harassing the singer, after persistently trying to connect with her to profess his love since 2014.

He was placed on probation for three years, ordered to continue with mental health counselling and told to stay away from and have no contact with Ariana or any of her associates or relatives.
